Google Web Accelerator

Google推出了 Google Web Accelerator（網頁加速器），可以預先下載某些網頁或者只下載異動的部分，以達到快速及節省時間的目的。它的運作方式如下：

• Sending your page requests through Google machines dedicated to handling Google Web Accelerator traffic.
• Storing copies of frequently looked at pages to make them quickly accessible.
• Downloading only the updates if a web page has changed slightly since you last viewed it.
• Prefetching certain pages onto your computer in advance.
• Managing your Internet connection to reduce delays.
• Compressing data before sending it to your computer.

目前只適用於Internet Explorer 5.5+ 或者 Firefox 1.0+
