2020年的未來圖書館

日前看到一張圖表，內容是來自 Pew Internet 去年(2012) 的一份簡報^[1]，簡報前半段提供 Pew Internet 一些調查數據，說明一些使用趨勢，最後幾張投影片才去引導想像未來的圖書館會是怎樣。

這份簡報最引起我注意的是第57張投影片，也就是下面這張圖，要下載ALA這份報告(Policy Brief) 的可以看延伸閱讀2的鏈結

未來圖書館這個題議真的太多機構在討論，相信大家都看過不少這方面的出版品或報告，例如在我電腦桌面上就有下面這份報告^[3]

它提出4個重點(優先)：

1. Place the library as the hub of a community
2. Make the most of digital technology and creative media
3. Ensure that libraries are resilient(彈性) and sustainable(可持續發展)
4. Deliver the right skills for those who work for libraries

另外，美國康乃爾大學圖書館在今年2月也舉辦了一場座談，討論研究型圖書館的未來及10年後的康乃爾大學圖書館。

Clifford Lynch, executive director of the Coalition for Networked Information and Wendy Lougee, university librarian and McKnight Presidential Professor at the University of Minnesota, speak at a faculty forum on the future of research libraries.
