康乃爾大學加入 GBS Library Project

前幾天才在 研習班 說到我認為 Google 一定很有把握著作權官司可以過關，所以才敢 ‘變本加厲’ (哈，有點用詞不當 🙂 ) 的進行 Google Book Search 計畫。看吧，今天 Cornell University Library 宣佈 加入Google Book Search Library Project。

如此一來，加入 GBS Library Project 的圖書館已經有7國 27個圖書館。(Cornell 說它是第27個)

Google will digitize up to 500,000 works from Cornell University Library and make them available online using Google Book Search. … Cornell is the 27th institution to join the Google Book Search Library Project, which digitizes books from major libraries and makes it possible for Internet users to search their collections online. Over the next six years, Cornell will provide Google with public domain and copyrighted holdings from its collections.
