OCLC 提供了幾張廣告海報供人下載，並解釋為何要這樣做:

Through the advocacy campaign, we hope to raise awareness of critical library issues, enable more informed dialogue, and ultimately help libraries demonstrate their value. Our goal is to raise the visibility of libraries.
